This one-hour after school activity develops coping strategies and social skills of elementary children to take leadership on everyday challenges. One giant game board is the play field of different scenarios where kids find tools to see the world in different perspectives and learn from each others’ point of view.
Parents can apply online and suggest their school. Leaders de Demain will contact your school to offer their workshops.
Built on 60-to-70-minute workshops, kids are walked through different themes with fun activities & improvisation sessions to foster leadership on identity, differences, friendship, loss, changes, injustice. They also learn to become a upstander against bullying.
Every day, kids cope with behavioral challenges from their peers and deal with their own emotional struggles.
Leaders de Demain allows kids to grow their self confidence and leadership by talking about their own experiences and share with each other their own wisdom.
First, a comic strip introduces you to a challenging situation. Just like the series » the book where you’re the hero », numerous activities allow you to try and outdo each other with daring and by being adventurous. Competing with creativity and boldness, you have to find different ways to create your own path through resolving issues.
Beware: subjects as sensitive as emotions, diversity, friendship, grief, bullying and changes might be disturbing sometimes. Together, we find the strengh to take on challenges with leadership and wisdom.
